Zeiterion Theatre tickets & upcoming events

Looking for a historic venue that’s seen it all and still keeps the spirit alive? The Zeiterion Theatre in New Bedford, MA, is more than just a pretty face. Built in 1923, this place has a charm that’s hard to find anymore, from its stunning art deco façade to its cozy, intimate interior. Back in the day, they used to screen black-and-white films with live organ music, imagine the atmosphere, plus, it hosted a band reunion in 1994 that brought out some serious nostalgia. Not to mention, in 1998 they debuted the energetic stage show Hairspray, which got rave reviews for its lively staging and performances. What’s pretty cool is how the theatre’s design makes it easy to switch between general admission and more exclusive seats, giving everyone a good view whether you’re up close or from the balcony. And honestly, the view from those upper levels is pretty spectacular, offering a different perspective on the set and performers. These days, the Zeiterion keeps the vibe alive with all kinds of acts, local bands, international stars, you name it. Planning to catch something? The interactive seating chart makes picking your spot a breeze. Whether you’re eyeing the front row for Rocky Horror, thinking about splurging on VIP seats for Mariza, or just want a great show without breaking the bank, they’ve got tickets for every budget. Seriously, don’t miss out on catching live performances at this historic gem.
